Animal Justice Association, UCalgary Law
We are the UC Law Student Association affiliated with Animal Justice Canada, the leading animal law advocacy organization in the country.

About Animal Justice Canada:
Animal Justice is Canada’s only national animal law advocacy organization. We believe that animals need lawyers, and our legal team works to protect animals from cruelty and neglect.

Animal Justice works to pass strong new animal protection laws, pushes to hold industries accountable for widespread animal suffering, and gives animals a voice in courtrooms across the country.
Black Law Students’ Association, Calgary Chapter
The Black Law Students’ Association at the University of Calgary (UCalgary BLSA) is a student-run club founded in 2018. We are committed to supporting and enhancing academic and professional opportunities for Black law students. This commitment extends to Black high school and undergraduate students and the community at large.

UCalgary BLSA is concerned with challenges faced by the Black community as they relate to the legal system.
University of Calgary Society of Law Students
The Society of Law Students (the “SLS“) is the official student association recognized by the Faculty of Law to represent the interests of all students in JD program.
We provide law students with social, sporting, academic, volunteer, and administrative services. We act as a liaison between students and the Faculty, the University, and the legal community. And we organize and host events throughout the year that enrich the student experience, including orientation week, ski trip, law show, and many others.
Our mission is to ensure your law school experience is inclusive, rewarding, and memorable.
