Conference Chair, BLSA Canada National Conference
Kendra Wilson is a Windsor Law JD student. As a Jamaican-Canadian, she came to Canada at the age of 12 and has immersed herself in Canadian culture since that time. Kendra previously served as Moot Committee member for the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA) at Windsor Law and was a caseworker at their Community Legal Aid (2019-2020). She was also the 2020-2021 Vice President of Operations for Women and the Law at Windsor Law, and Co-President of the Women’s Justice and Empowerment Organization, Graduate and Law Level, at the University of Windsor.
Kendra is committed to advocacy, inclusion, and community involvement and she serves as Chair of the BLSA Canada’s upcoming national conference. She also played a key role in the administrative initiative of ensuring the smooth and successful running of BLSA Canada’s 30th milestone. Kendra aims to assist in moving BLSA Canada forward and maintaining BLSA Canada’s dedication to inclusivity, diversity, and equity within the legal field.
