Under normal circumstances, the Editor's Note would publish alongside the rest of the publication so that it can preface, or "set the tone" for the issue. These are not normal circumstances, and this is certainly not a regular issue, though!
This issue of the Moot Times is scheduled for release at 10 pm on January 31, 2022. What we have not told you is that we have a surprise bonus article from a very special new law student at UCalgary Law. This bonus article will release in Thursday, February 3, 2022, and with it I will update this note with a special message.
