Editor's Note: February Reflections

By Glenn McAleer and Athina Pantazopoulos

Winter semester is always a bit disjointed, with every law student in block courses at the start of January, and the frantic race to secure summer employment in February. As we step into March, and begin to gear up for the end of another semester, we hope The Moot Times can take your mind off of final papers and CANs for a few moments.

This edition of our magazine is packed with interesting articles from our team, and there’s a host of events worth getting excited for. Whether you’re a social butterfly gearing up for Law Show, or a fly on the wall just looking for something to pass the time, there is something for everybody on campus and in The Moot Times.

With a new year well underway, I am feeling the rush to move forward and finish things before I meet fictional deadlines of my own devising. I know that pressure is real for many of you as well. Nevertheless, I find a real joy in writing for writings’ sake that is never diminished by stress. I am so excited to share that joy with all of our readers in this Winter 2023 issue.

Thank you for taking the time to flip through a copy of our beloved magazine. Our team works year-round to write, edit, and publish content for our student body. We are always looking for more friends to join us as contributors, and welcome anybody with an interest in writing to share their passion with us and the rest of our faculty.

Editors-in-Chief,

Glenn McAleer & Athina Pantazopoulos
